Our quick charger for 48V lithium batteries charges the battery pack with a charging current of 5A. Made from a high-quality aluminum housing with a built-in fan, the original SXT lithium charger represents the highest quality. Compared to standard chargers, which usually only charge at 2A, the battery is supplied with energy up to 2.5 times faster and more efficiently, thus drastically reducing charging times.
A rule of thumb for calculating the charging time is the battery capacity in Ah : the charging current, so for example for a battery with 20Ah capacity : charging current of 5A = approximately 4 hours charging time.
If the battery pack to be charged has a lower residual voltage than the usual standard before charging, the charger switches to a low charging current so as not to damage the battery during charging. Once the battery has reached the usual minimum voltage again, the charger automatically switches to full power. This means that your batteries are always optimally charged and a long service life is guaranteed.
