Li-Ion lithium battery pack 48V 30Ah

A power pack like it's in the books - that's our new incredible 30 Ah Li-Ion (Li（NiCoMn）O2) power battery pack. Thanks to the Li-Ion technology, this battery can be recharged up to 1500 times and still reaches 80% of its nominal capacity.

The basic advantages of lithium batteries over lead batteries are clear:

• massive weight savings of about 50-60%
• double to triple capacity with the same dimensions (significantly higher energy density)
• 6-8 times as many charging cycles
• Lithium batteries can be "recharged" at any time, regardless of their charge level
• no "memory effect"
• very low self-discharge during storage
• wide temperature range during operation and charging.

Due to its extremely high energy density, this type of battery is ideal for mobile devices such as electric vehicles such as our electric scooters, but also bicycles or other vehicles. With the 30 Ah Li-Ion battery pack, the range of our e-scooters increases from 20-25 km with the conventional 12 Ah lead battery to up to 60 km with the 30 Ah lithium power pack.

Another advantage of lithium batteries is the constant energy output at a constant voltage for a very long time - a lead battery releases the energy with an almost constant voltage loss, which has the effect that the vehicle becomes weaker and weaker the more the battery is discharged - this effect practically does not occur with lithium batteries because the operating voltage only drops towards the end.

ATTENTION: Please note that connecting the battery to your scooter may require a different connector than the one shown in the photos. An adapter cable/plug may be required for this.

Product update 2016:
The battery block is now built into a high-quality aluminum housing. This allows easy access to the BMS and simple error analysis thanks to the built-in 25-pin D-Sub socket. With this new housing/battery type, it is also possible to rebalance any unbalanced cells in order to guarantee the highest possible battery life and performance.

Important! If the Li-Ion batteries are used in the SXT scooter models instead of the lead/gel batteries, they cannot be charged via the normal charging socket on the scooter because the electronics do not work. This is why the Li-Ion batteries have an extra charging plug on the battery pack itself, which must be connected directly to the charger supplied in order to charge the battery. This means that you receive everything you need for charging, but the process is different to what you are used to.
